Two-step

Two-step Evaporator And Absorber

YORK® YHAU-CL/CH Hot Water Chillers feature a distinctive two-step evaporator design that separates the absorption process into two pressure levels. Chilled water circulates through tubes in both evaporators, while a concentrated lithium bromide solution is distilled in the absorber shell, flowing in the opposite direction.

Falling

Falling Film Generator

The falling-film generator design offers superior heat transfer performance in comparison to a traditional flooded generator. This design not only reduces the necessary amount of lithium-bromide solution for circulation but also shortens the startup time from a cold start. Stainless steel tubes are used to prevent stress corrosion cracking, and intermediate tube supports enhance unit longevity.
