YORK STELLAR 60Hz rooftop packaged units are high-efficiency, single-package systems built for reliable performance. Models 780 and 900 feature three independent refrigerant circuits, while models 1080 and 1200 have four, ensuring efficient operation even under part-load conditions. Primarily designed for rooftop installation, these units can also be slab-mounted on steel beams above a finished roof. With a variety of factory-mounted options and field-installed accessories, STELLAR units are suitable for a wide range of commercial applications.

All Standard YORK DEH Stellar Major Series Rooftop Packaged Units Include:

Double-skin construction with pre-painted outer panels in an attractive color, meeting ASTM B 117, 750-hour salt spray standard for corrosion resistance.
Multi-stage cooling with three or four independent refrigeration circuits, including expansion valves, filter driers, high and low pressure switches, and freeze stats.
High-efficiency hermetic scroll compressors for reliable performance.
Rigid construction with boxed extruded aluminum profile and side air discharge configuration.
Fan motors: Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) IP55 evaporator motors and Totally Enclosed Air Over (TEAO) IP55 condenser motors, both with Class F insulation.

Belt-drive blower motor with variable-pitch pulley for flexible operation.
Microprocessor-based Simplicity™ control board for easy operation.
Fresh air intake panel with copper tubes and aluminum fins coils for efficient heat transfer.
2-inch disposable filter with easy access.
Rigging holes in base rails for overhead lifting.
High-efficiency PU foam insulation conforming to DIN 4102:B3.

Heresite-coated evaporator and condenser coils (factory-installed): Applied by spray for maximum corrosion protection.
Copper tube and copper fin evaporator and condenser coils (factory-installed): For enhanced heat transfer and durability.
Filter options: Standard units come with 2” disposable filters; 2” washable aluminum filters are available as a factory-installed option.
Bag filters (factory-installed): Units can be supplied with standard-size bag filters with 65%, 85%, or 95% efficiency.
High and low speed drive (factory-installed): Includes a belt and blower pulley to upgrade or downgrade blower performance.
Fresh air dampers: Available manual or motorized.
Low ambient kit (factory-installed): Allows operation down to 32°F (0°C).
Smoke detectors (factory-installed): Supply and return air smoke detectors interrupt power to the control board if smoke is detected.
Ultraviolet lamps (factory-installed)

Electric heaters: Electric heaters: All-electric heat models (factory- or field-installed) are wired for a single power source and include nickel-chromium elements at the supply air discharge for uniform high-velocity heating. Each element is protected by high-temperature thermal cutouts (HTIC).
Phase monitors (factory-installed): Phase monitors (factory-installed): Prevent unit damage by shutting down the unit in out-of-phase conditions.
